Website Status Checker

We send a real HTTP request to the URL from our server and report what comes back. Up means the site responded with a success or redirect status (below 400); a 4xx or 5xx status, a timeout or a connection failure is shown as an error. Because we check from our network, not your machine, it helps tell a real outage apart from a problem on your side.

The request runs on Uptimeify's EU servers and the URL you enter is used only for the check, not stored. The fetcher only allows http and https and refuses to connect to private or internal addresses, so it can't be misused to probe internal systems. As an EU-built, EU-hosted provider, we keep this off US infrastructure and clear of US Cloud Act exposure.

A one-off check tells you the site is up right now — but outages rarely happen while you are watching. Uptimeify checks your sites every minute from multiple EU locations, confirms outages across locations to avoid false alarms, and alerts you within seconds, with response-time history you can show clients.
