Ping Test
Measure how fast a host responds from our EU servers — connection latency over several attempts, with min/avg/max round-trip time and packet loss.
End the manual growth tax.
Running checks by hand eats valuable agency time. Uptimeify monitors your entire client portfolio from one place — on a fair, organization-wide quota model, on secure EU infrastructure. No per-client fees, no surprises.
Frequently asked questions about Ping Test
No — and that's deliberate. Classic ICMP ping needs raw socket access and is easily abused, so this tool measures TCP connection latency instead: it opens a real connection to the host on a port (443 by default) several times and times how long each takes to establish. The result reflects the network round-trip plus the time for the server to accept the connection, which is what actually matters for reaching a web service.
Min, average and max are the round-trip times across the attempts, in milliseconds — lower is better and a tight spread means a stable connection. Packet loss is the share of attempts that got no answer within the timeout, usually caused by a firewall dropping traffic or an overloaded host. Note that a 'connection refused' still counts as a reply, because the host answered — it just isn't listening on that port.
The connections are made from Uptimeify's EU servers, not your browser, so the latency reflects our network rather than yours. The host you enter is used only to run the test and is not stored, private and reserved addresses are refused, and the connection is pinned to the resolved public IP. As an EU-built, EU-hosted provider, Uptimeify keeps this off US infrastructure and clear of US Cloud Act exposure, which matters for agencies handling client data under GDPR.
