Frequently asked questions about Page Size Check
It’s how many bytes a page weighs. We report two numbers: the Content-Length the server advertised (usually the gzip/brotli-compressed bytes that travel over the network) and the full decoded size of the HTML document we received.
Most servers compress responses. The wire size is the compressed payload; the decoded size is the uncompressed HTML. A big gap means good compression.
