Notification Channel
A notification channel is a destination an alert is delivered to: email, SMS, Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, a webhook, and so on.
Routing alerts to the channels a team actually watches is what makes monitoring actionable. Most setups combine several channels and attach them to escalation rules.
