Setting up Alert Contacts

Uptimeify supports multiple notification channels to ensure you never miss a critical alert.

Supported Channels

We currently support the following notification methods:

  • Email: Receive detailed alerts directly in your inbox.
  • Slack: Get notified in your team's Slack channel.
  • Discord: Send alerts to a Discord channel via webhook.
  • SMS: Receive urgent text messages (Premium feature).
  • Webhook: Trigger custom workflows or integrate with other tools.

Adding a Notification Channel

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations (or Notification Channels).
  2. Click Add Channel.
  3. Select the type (e.g., Email, Slack).
  4. Enter the required details (Email address, Webhook URL, etc.).
  5. Click Test to verify the connection.
  6. Click Save.

Assigning Channels to Monitors

By default, new channels might be added to your default alert policy. You can also configure Granular Notification Rules to route specific alerts to specific channels based on:

  • Severity: Only send critical alerts to SMS.
  • Time: Route alerts differently during off-hours.
  • Tags: Send database alerts to the backend team.
