> Alert fatigue is the desensitization that sets in when people receive so many alerts, especially false ones, that they start ignoring them.

Once a team tunes out alerts, it eventually misses a real incident. Fighting alert fatigue means cutting false positives, tuning severities, and paging humans only for things that truly need them.
